Download your FREE guide to Information, instruction, and training in hand arm vibration (HAV)

Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) is a debilitating injury caused by prolonged and uncontrolled use of powered tools and equipment, and this injury is caused by blood vessel, nerve, and muscular damage in the hands and lower arms.

If the risks of HAVS injuries are assessed as reaching a certain level, then as employers you’re legally obliged to provide information, instruction, and training (IIT) in HAV to those at risk.

A guide is available that explains clearly when the training is legally required, who should provide it, recording proof of providing this training, and what the training should consist of.
