Occupational Noise

Continued exposure to high noise levels will eventually lead to the risk of hearing loss and/or tinnitus. Under the Control of Noise at Work Regulations (CoNAWR) (2005), employers are legally bound to reduce noise levels as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP) such that the risks of causing harm to hearing of your employees are minimised or eliminated. Essel Acoustics will carry out a detailed risk assessment that will form the basis of compliance with the CoNAWR.

We will:

Identify

the noise hazards

Identify

the employees that are at risk and the reasons for this

Make

recommendations on how the risks to employees can be eliminated, controlled, or reduced

Assess

the suitability of your current selection of hearing protection if its use cannot be avoided

Provide

you with an action plan for compliance with the regulations

Make

you aware of your duty to provide awareness, instruction, and training to employees
